My intention with this drawing was to replicate materials, form and the parametric paneling on the exterior of the building.  However, dimensioned drawings for this building are not available to the public, so a parametric model was necessary to make the form editable until it fit the site footprint and space diagrams.

The NMAAHC is clad with multiple types of panels that range in mullion thickness.  The design is too complex for a standard computer to create hundreds of these panels.  In order to make a reasonable file, it was necessary to create a custom panel family with varying mullion thicknesses.
